Upgrades, Upcycles and Better Buttons!
In which Berkeley Cat Records SAVES the WORLD! Somewhat
Hi!
CLEARLY it’s a right time for improvements. I s’pose any time is fine for that, but WHAT improvements, WHICH ones, by whom and how? SOME things are better left alone, perfectly fine systems we rely on, running in the background until some idiots march in and unnecessarily fuck them up. And at such times the Better Button must be pressed!
That’s right, kittins, and the scientists in Berkeley Cat Records National Labs have devised a remedy in the brand new, Push the Better Button (2025 remaster)
It’s live in Bandcamp already, campers, click the link above, and mere moments ago, I uploaded it for immediate release to streaming services. Expect it in your Spotify and Apple Music and Pandora and a few others in a day or three, and press those Buttons!
In keeping with this theme, Nonuffya Bizznis And The Private Dancers have despatched a new original song called Upgrade! for immediate streaming release. Attaching the artwork here. We ALL know how the Upgrades can go, don’t we? Some go smoothly, making things, well, better, while OTHERS!? Have you ever had your Digital Audio Workstation abruptly stop working due to an operating system “upgrade” which obliterates compatibility and stops your work? Oh, some of us have. BUT! I do digress, Upgrade! we must and shall, in myriad ways and forthwith. Nonuffya Bizznis And The Private Dancers were not elected, but I have complete faith in their comprehensive reworking and firing of deranged maniacs. Hear our recent Outerview with the elusive Nonuffya, right here.
As if this were all not enough world-saving improvement, The FAVES latest single featuring Larry Lynch, Need A Change, is getting heaping helpings of love from radio deejays and classic rock fans far and near. Thanks to all in their network for making it happen, it’s just lovely to see and I’m over here applauding. Also! Very thrilled to record a track with these legendary gents, in less than a month.
Need a change? An upgrade? A better button? We have ‘em! And we are glad to share.
It would also be very clever if people would vote, consistently and intelligently, in their actual best interests, if you please, just a thought, going forward, alrighty then.
All the best, from your pals at Berkeley Cat Records.
