OK! I want to thank Russ, Gerda, Damon, and Jacki, for sending in voice memos per my callout for same in these very pages! That was fun. I just uploaded the final album mix with a delightful dystopian potpourri of voices in the fadeout, as was foretold.
Piero said this sounds like an acoustic strumalong at the beach, and I like that. Nerdly note, when I track acoustic guitar for my songs, I often double-track it, which just means record the part twice, and then I lay it in Left and Right so it has a great big wide strummy sound. Not for this one. I resisted the temptation to do that, cos I wanted the single strum up the middle for, well, what Piero said! As for the whole alternate sci-fi future bidnez, we’ll take that “as read.”
Yesterday’s insta-single was a kick! My fastest turnaround yet? Not that it’s ever a footrace, but it is fun sometimes to have an idea and run with it and publish it all in a day or two. Getting some amusing feedback on that, as I might! Here it is again,
