Hey, Pals!
I’ve gone and re-uploaded my Caterwaul vid to archive.org with nicely mastered audio. Check it on out here:

The album should also be live in ye olde streaming services and our beloved Bandcamp purty soon! Here’s the fab cover art by Shannon Wheeler:
More Mews!
I’ve enabled subscriptions here on the BCR Substack! Inspired, indeed motivated by my (very!) longtime friend and great supporter of artists, Buddy Born, who pledged a subscription recently, I went through the setup steps this morning and now, you may indeed subscribe to this mewsletter monetarily if you like! I may come up with some exclusive behind the curtain content (CONTENT, CONTENT, CONTENT!!) as time goes on, now that this is enabled. I’ve left the prices at the Substack default settings for now, AND! Opted in for 1.5 percent of any revenue here to go to Substack’s partner-in-saving-the-earth, https://stripe.com/climate because of course I did. THANKS, Buddy! And thanks all who enjoy this mewsletter and the goodies in it.
Even more Mews!
A few days ago I engaged Michael Urbano to smack the drums on Charlotte in the Garden of the New Futility at Michael Rosen’s awesome East Bay Recorders because apparently this is the sort of thing that I do. It delays the release of the single a tad from my original intention, BUT! Totally worth it, as it takes the song into the level of production glory that I think it deserves. After drums and some fine percussion spices were laid down, I re-cut my bass guitar track (with none other than Ben Eastwood’s storied ‘72 Fender P!) and my guitar and vocals, and it just launched the whole thing into where it needed to be. Am I excited about this one? Why yes, Petunia. Thanks, Michaels! I’ll likely mix it this coming weekend, oh boy oh boy.
Mooooar still!!
I’m playing ANOTHER acoustic gig caterwaul!! This one with AcoustiCurt and Legal Disaster in Santa Rosa (what?!) on Fri Sep 22 2023 at 07:00 pm (that’s quite specific) and YOU are invited! Details here, for the love of criminey.
That’s all really, for now.
Love and bunnies,
A. Berkeley Cat
