Good morning!
It’s been an exciting and packed Berkeley Cat Records week so I will report.
My new single Charlotte in the Garden of the New Futility is getting airplay in the Radio Indie Alliance network of stations, enough to arrive at number 11 on their weekly chart! The song even arrived at number one at UK station, Radio VGR, and yes I did a double-take when I saw that on Weds morning. I’m so glad this song is connecting with some DJs and music fans out there. Thanks to everyone passing it along - I’m very grateful. Charlotte and the marmot are also thrilled! Links to the song on various platforms are here - we’d LOVE for you to play it and even share any which way you may care to.
At the SAME time, The FAVEs, our resident Bay Area rockin’ superband, are getting big spins with their Higher and Higher cover! Several other tracks from FAVES have been faved up the Indie Radio Rockin’ charts there in recent years, and they have at least two tracks seeing action there right now (WHAT!?) Can confirm, Catalonia. Larry Lynch used to sing “Higher” (while playing drums!) as a feature in live sets with the Greg Kihn Band (also with Robbie Dunbar on guitar), and now it’s a new FAVES single, which you may find here. BREAKING MEWS: The FAVES will take it higher LIVE at the Kensington Circus Pub this Thursday October 12th at 8:00 PM!
What else? I’m gonna make a lyric video for “Charlotte” soon. To that end, I have acquired an appropriate pen. The marmot is pleased.
That’s all for now folks, more in the works, THANKS for your support in these non-artificial hooman endeavors!!
Love to you and yours,
Eric Din
